Great for a small family

I was concerned about the negative reviews so I avoided this product at first but a plumber for my building recommended it so I took another look. He said he had already helped install three of them in my condo complex and had received positive feedback about them I am very happy with the machines communication skills - I dont really use the app at all but I might someday if I need the laundry done ASAP. I use the wash and dry cycle for my towels and tough items and usually use the bulky cycle for my more delicate ones. The machine alerts me when it is time to clean the tub which I find very helpful. I have two drying racks I use to save energy and keep delicates safe. I live alone with two cats too so the capacity is sufficient for my needs. The noise is about as loud as my dishwasher. I might turn the signal alarm volume down or silence it as I find the melody a little annoying but otherwise I am very happy with my purchase. I am very impressed that a machine can both wash and dry. I use compostible wipes to clean off the lint around the door when it gathers and I have not had any trouble with clogs. I am happy to be using less gas every month Thank you LG

Purchased in July 2022 for my rarely-used in-law unit. In October 2025 it started showing wild characters on the digital display making it impossible to do laundry. I expect something that costs nearly $2k to last more than 3 years with minimal use I should have bought the better quality all-in-one from Bosch or Miele Its a shame because my house has full sized LG washer and dryer purchased in July 2021 and they are still going strong. Maybe the all-in-one is just a poor design. Sigh

Defective LG Washer and Ongoing Service Failures

My LG WM3555HWA washer vibrates so violently during the spin cycle that it moves across the floor. Ive followed all customer service recommendations and have had a technician inspect the machine three times yet the problem remains unresolved. Neither Lowes nor LG will offer a repair replacement or refund. Recommended fixes included using anti-vibration pads placing the washer on a floor mat leveling the machine and adjusting the feet. While these measures have reduced how far the washer travels as shown in my video they havent resolved the underlying vibration issue. Now it takes only a couple of wash cycles for the washer to shift off the mat. See before-and-after photos. I regularly have to lift the machine back onto the matalways a two-person job. As it shifts it becomes unlevel requiring us to lift it again to readjust the feet. The first service call was through LGs warranty the next two were under my Lowes extended warranty. The same technician was sent all three times. He has been consistently unprofessional and clearly uninterested in diagnosing the actual issue. At this point I believe his sole purpose is to deny valid warranty claims. Lowes states that they cannot take action unless the technician declares the unit unrepairable. However he continues to insist the washer is fine despite ample evidence to the contrary. I specifically requested a different technician and was assured one would be assigned yet the same individual showed up again. After a second request and another promise for a different technician I see the same name on the next scheduled service ticket. This entire process has been incredibly frustrating. Im stuck with a defective appliance while Lowes and LG continue to pass responsibility back and forth instead of providing a real solution.

Drying mode does NOT work

The washer works great but the dryer mode does not work. After a wash cycle the clothes are clean and only damp however if I run a drying mode after that they come out completely sopping damp. An authorized LG technician came within a week of purchasing this unit. They ran diagnostics for 5 minutes and they were told that LG said that everything works normally. Let me tell you it does not the clothes come back SOPPING WET. Customer service says everything is normal. Avoid avoid avoid

High Quality Reliable Long-lasting

Bought our unit in 2015 and just starting to have problems with it now 9.5 years later. Until now it has been reliable and cleans well. The issue some have with drying is notable. When the chime signals that the cycle is complete do not wait to pull items out or they will dampen as they cool. Heavier Items like towels may need another drying cycle. Otherwise this is a wonderful product for a small household of two people.

This generation of LGs all-in-one washer/dryer is improved over the previous. Ive owned both and while I really liked the previous one this operates better. Particularly the dryer. It is easier to program and dries faster.

We purchased this washer/dryer combo in 2018 but wasnt used for 3 months while our bathroom was being renovated. We have a large capacity washer and dryer in our basement that we use for heavy duty washes such as sheets and towels. The combo was only used for our personal clothing. This machine has been repaired twice close to $500 for each service call and parts. Four months ago it stopped working again The quality of this product is terrible

Annoying Machine

This machine annoys me. It washes clothes just as well as my old machine. The display is not simple. The manual assumes the user is a techno-geek. The drum leaves lint on the door. The door where the lint is supposed to end up doesnt collect very much lint but does collect water that floods out when that door is opened.

Purchased Jan 20/24 We wanted to leave enough time pass before filling out revue for accuracy My wife main question that was never answered is were or how to add bleach or liquid sanitizer in to soap draw. Also wish that their was a way or button for a shorter dry cycle? Other than these two issues the Combo Wash /dry unit is working great. My wife thinks that music-that it plays at end of wash cycle is CUTE

Bought thus All in one unita bit expensive. Needed a plumber to add connections under my sinkcost me over $400 to getbthe hookups. Tried to use unitno waycalled customer serv. They instructed me DID NOT WORK. Called 4 times for helpyour people dontveven know how to run this unit. Ran a couple of dish towels it took 3hrs to washthen another 120 mins. For dry cycle which does not drytowels were just as wet as end of wash cycle. At this point I was livid called home depot asked for returnwatch Home Depots run police 48hrs or your stuck with it. Just made it in time they picked up next daythank God hope itv went to junk hell. Looked around at ither stores for a true combo unitall told me same thing they dont workbetter to get seperate units. Found a small merchant in my local area who gave me a good deal on two unitssame size as the LGthey wash GREAT DRY as a dryer shoukdalso vented to out side using 220 volts for dryer. Also were stackable if you wantedenergetic star rated with rebates on both units

Under whelmed

I have had the All-in-One washer/dryer combo for a few months now. This is small and fits into a bathroom closet. The no exhaust and standard outlet 15 amp are a plus. My problem is that the product shakes and bangs against the wall. I move it and it just moves back against the wall. Too loud and vibrates The system is heavy and not easy to move. Hence we rarely use it. Unfortunately may sell it to recover some of my cost.
